Our safety and compliance culture is designed to support airport customers with structured procedures, trained personnel, station supervision and continuous operational control.

01

Ground Safety Coordination

Safety-focused coordination with qualified personnel at operating stations to support secure, controlled and efficient ground operations.

02

Operational Standards

Compliance-oriented practices aligned with airport, aviation authority and customer operational expectations.

03

Internal Quality Audits

Structured internal review practices focused on service consistency, corrective actions and continuous improvement.

04

RISK CONTROL

Operational control from planning to execution

Safety is not treated as a separate layer. It is embedded into planning, station readiness, service execution, supervision and post-operation review.

01

Pre-operation Review

Aircraft type, service scope, timing, station conditions, personnel and required resources are reviewed before execution.

02

Personnel Readiness

Teams are assigned according to operational requirements, training, role and station capability.

03

Safe Service Execution

Ramp, traffic, dispatch and cargo tasks are coordinated through defined procedures and supervision.

04

Continuous Improvement

Operational findings, incidents and customer requirements are used to strengthen future performance.

SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Documented and approved by AFAC

SATISERCOM operates under a formal Safety Management System (SMS) reviewed and approved by the Agencia Federal de Aviacion Civil (AFAC). Our SMS establishes the systematic framework for identifying hazards, assessing operational risk and implementing corrective actions across all stations and service types.

The SMS is embedded in day-to-day operations and covers ramp handling, traffic services, dispatch support, cargo handling and airline representation at every station where SATISERCOM is present.

  • Hazard identification and risk assessment protocols
  • Corrective and preventive action tracking
  • Safety performance indicators reviewed quarterly
  • Incident reporting and investigation procedures
  • Safety promotion and internal communication
APPROVED OPERATIONAL MANUALS

AFAC-approved procedures for both operating entities

SATISERCOM's two operating entities — SATI and SERCOM — each hold independently approved operational manuals issued by the Agencia Federal de Aviacion Civil (AFAC). These manuals define the authorized procedures, equipment standards and personnel requirements governing ground handling, dispatch and ramp operations at each certified station.

Approval by AFAC confirms that our documented procedures meet Mexican civil aviation regulatory requirements. Manuals are subject to revision whenever operational scope changes or regulatory updates require it.

  • Individual AFAC approval for SATI operating entity
  • Individual AFAC approval for SERCOM operating entity
  • Covers ramp, traffic, dispatch and cargo procedures
  • Mandatory adherence at all operating stations
  • Periodic review and regulatory re-approval cycle
AVIATION SECURITY

AVSEC-certified personnel at every station

Aviation security is a non-negotiable element of ground handling. SATISERCOM maintains AVSEC-certified personnel at its operating stations, trained and recurrently evaluated under the national aviation security program coordinated with AFAC and airport authorities.

Our ramp and traffic teams operate within defined security perimeters, follow access control procedures and coordinate with airline security officers on security-sensitive movements including government flights, diplomatic missions and special aviation operations.

  • AVSEC certification for operational personnel
  • Compliance with national aviation security regulations
  • Ramp access control and identification procedures
  • Coordination with airline and airport security officers
  • Special operations: government, diplomatic and state flights
DISPATCH OPERATIONS

Authorized dispatch office with certified capacity

SERCOM holds an authorized dispatch office certification issued by AFAC, with documented operational capacity for flight dispatch support services. Our certified dispatchers provide weight and balance calculation, fuel coordination, flight planning support, weather briefing and NOTAMs review for airline and cargo operations at designated stations.

Dispatch services are provided by personnel holding valid Mexican dispatch licenses and recurrent training certification, operating under the approved operational manual.

  • AFAC-authorized dispatch office (SERCOM)
  • Certified flight dispatchers with valid Mexican licenses
  • Weight and balance, fuel planning and NOTAMs coordination
  • Weather briefing and aeronautical information services
  • Recurrent training and license maintenance program
SPECIALIZED SERVICES REGISTRY

Registered specialized service provider — STPS

SERCOM (Servicios Complementarios Aereos SA de CV) is registered in the REPSE — Registro de Prestadores de Servicios Especializados — under the Secretaria del Trabajo y Prevision Social (STPS), confirming compliance with Mexican labor regulations applicable to specialized service providers operating within client facilities.

REPSE registration is a mandatory requirement for ground handling companies providing services at airports, demonstrating compliance with subcontracting reform requirements under the Federal Labor Law.
